Gitzo GHF2W 2-Way Fluid Head

This head has been developed for birdwatchers using medium-sized spotting scopes, and wildlife photographers shooting premium CSC or DSLR cameras with medium telephoto lenses (up to 200mm).

The GHF2W 2-Way Fluid Head is an extremely compact fluid head with an essential, ergonomic design. The reflection-free surfaces offer good camouflage, which is especially critical for use in wildlife applications. The head provides a comprehensive set of technical features. The key innovations are the fluid cartridges and precise inner mechanism. With its lightweight magnesium body, the head is a perfect match for Gitzo carbon fibre tripods – it weighs less than 0.6 kg and safely supports up to 4kg. It features a long rubberised Arca-Swiss compatible plate and a sophisticated, adjustable and highly accurate counterbalance system, which allows photographic equipment to be perfectly balanced and supported easily and firmly for capturing the sharpest shots. Switching from capturing pictures to shooting videos is incredibly quick and easy with the 2-Way Fluid Head’s video configuration, with rapid set-up through the integrated pan bar.
