Gitzo GSLVLS Systematic Levelling Base

All the latest Systematic accessories feature a safety catch that prevents the centre accessory dropping out of the tripod, even if the top casting is inadvertently left unlocked. When used together with the latest Systematic tripods equipped with the corresponding safety button, the accessory is always held safely in place until the release button is pushed. Newer Systematic accessories can also be used with older Systematic tripods (and vice versa), but without this extra safety feature.

The GSLVLS Leveling Base is a tripod accessory designed to enable photographers to set up perfectly level shots quickly and precisely with their Gitzo Systematic tripods and heads. This model is ideal when shooting with a flat-based video head or in landscape photography. A head can be attached onto the leveling base’s standard 3/8'' screw, and the lever on the side tightens the screw securely against the head. The GSLVLS fits onto any Gitzo Systematic tripod via the optional 75mm video adapter GS3321V75 (for Series 3 and 4 tripods) or GS5321V75 (for Series 5 tripods).
