Gitzo GT1555T Series 1 Carbon 5-Section Traveler Tripod

The Traveler tripod, with the 180° leg folding system pioneered by Gitzo, makes more efficient use of folded space by accommodating the centre column and head in between the folded tripod legs, making it ideal for photographers looking for a lightweight and compact professional tripod. The new Traveler tripod is now even stronger with state of the art Carbon eXact tubes – stiffer than its predecessor's Carbon 6X tubes, and with larger diameters. The new Traveler is also more space efficient with the compact but strong Traveler G-lock. The new curved external form gives good grip, while the internal O-ring achieves softer operation and reduces dust and grit entering the locks. A short column is included for faster switching to ground level position. Also featuring new feet – space saving, stable and easy to replace in case they get worn.

The GT1555T has 5 sections which makes it extremely compact when folded. It is recommended for use with 135mm lenses (200mm maximum). Supplied with shoulder strap included, for convenient switching between carrying and shooting.
