Sony/Minolta cameras do not have a standard hotshoe on the top of the camera. This means you will not be able to fit many useful accessories like standard Infrared triggers, radio triggers etc. - you need one of these to enable their use.
Most of the Sony/Minolta range of cameras also do not have a PC sync cable socket, so Interfit have built one in to the STR114 adaptor.
