This new lens builds upon the success of the SP 150-600mm (A011) with better overall optical performance and faster AF speed, VC enhancements, plus fluorine coating, Flex Zoom Lock and optional tele converters. Smart engineering and high performance combine with quality craftsmanship, durability and user friendliness. Enhanced optics mean greater versatility, with improved light transmission, no ghosting or flare. Minimum Object Distance is reduced to 2.2m for tele-macro photography and dramatic bokeh. Improved AF enables high-speed focus even when capturing moving subjects. Other features include three modes of Vibration Compensation (VC); Flex Zoom Lock mechanism; and stylish ergonomic design with metal exterior and moisture resistant construction. Two new tele converters, 1.4x and 2.0x magnification, are available. Compatible with Tamron TAP-in Console.
