This new SP 70-200mm G2 telephoto lens for full-frame DSLR cameras builds upon Tamron's highly acclaimed A009 with enhanced optical performance, improved VC (Vibration Compensation), faster AF speed and accuracy, and shortened Minimum Object Distance for greater flexibility. Compatibility with Tamron Tele Converters provides additional focal length (up to maximum 400mm). The new optical design provides high image quality and enhanced bokeh throughout, while eBAND Coating greatly minimizes flare and ghosting. In keeping with the SP series’ innovative technology, the lens is designed to be durable, flexible and resilient enough to rise to any occasion. The lens features a metal-based barrel for improved handling and ease-of-use. Model A025 widens the scope of expression for photography in a broad range of genres, such as portraits, landscapes, sports and photojournalism. Compatible with Tamron TAP-in Console, and 1.4x and 2.0x Tele Converters.
