Installation Steps
1. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws and open the top cover.
2. Loosen the mounting screw, insert your SSD, and tighten it securely.
3. Replace the top cover and screw it back in.

2. If your phone system has been updated to iOS 26 or later, please follow the steps below to use the hard drive. 1. Find “Settings” and “Privacy & Security”. 2. Click “Security" , “Wired Accessories” and "Always Allow". 3. Turn off and restart phone. 4. Connect hard drive to phone, find "Files" and "Browse‘’, and check for the "Ulanzi" folder. 5. Make sure the hard drive enclosure's indicator light will be solid blue. If hard drive fails after above steps: cable-phone incompatibility.
3. The cable included with MA55 SSD Enclosure is only compatible with iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 series. It is not fully compatible with iPhone 17 or iOS 26 and above. Please confirm your phone model and system before purchasing.
4. Dual side magnetic design means it can be used with the MA30, MA38, MA60, MA0, MA50 & TT88 phone tripod, MA35 Smartphone Camera Shutter, and magnetic selfie light.
