Unlike a conventional 4x 70-300mm, this compact 6x lens zooms from 50mm yet boasts a length of just 150mm and a class-leading light weight of 665g. Additionally, BBAR-G2 (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection Generation 2) Coating suppresses ghosting and flare to let you capture every detail of your subject, even under backlit conditions. Compatible with Tamron Lens Utility software
The 50-300mm f/4.5-6.3 VC is compatible with the dedicated Tamron Lens Utility software (for computers and Android OS) that was developed in-house by Tamron. This software allows various lens and camera settings to be assigned to the Focus Set Button located on the lens. Also, the lens' firmware can be updated to the latest version. In addition, when using the mobile version, functions unique to the mobile version can be operated remotely without touching the lens. Users may customize functions for various still photography and videography shooting styles, thereby providing a more personalized and fulfilling shooting experience.
